Eligibility
- Nominations are reviewed and selected by board members based on the quality of the article and nominee’s profile.
- Self-nominations are accepted.
- Winning authors may also nominate others for awards.
- Nominations remain valid for one award cycle only.
- Selected authors may apply for an upgrade or change of title (updated CV may be requested).
- Winners remain eligible for future awards, including subject-specific categories.
Nomination Process
Call for Nominations
The call for nominations for the International Research Awards will be officially announced and opened for submissions.
Along with the nominee’s information, certain categories may also require the input of a referee, who will be invited by the nominator.
Review Process
- Once nominations are accepted, suggested references (where applicable) may be requested to provide an assessment.
- For the technical evaluation, independent experts will review the nominations and prepare a shortlist of candidates for the relevant award titles.
- All nominations are scored against defined criteria. These scores remain strictly confidential and are discussed only within the selection committee.
Approval of Awards
- The selection committee will meet to review and deliberate on the shortlisted nominations.
- Recommendations are submitted for approval.
- Final approval is granted by the committee.
Notification of Outcome
- Successful winners and nominators will be informed by email once the committee has given final approval.
- Unsuccessful nominations will not be individually notified, as most remain valid for consideration in future award cycles.
- All winners will be officially announced and recognized during the International Research Awards on Science, Health, and Engineering ceremony.
Awards Delegate Fee
Participation in the award conference is mandatory; however, if you are unable to attend, your award package will be delivered via courier.
